LUCYJAN ZECER

personal identity of a fictitious typesetter

Inspired by the old craft workshops, which are slowly disappearing from my neighborhood. The whole project is based on a modular grid and the letters—in accordance with the principle of oldschool typesetting—are arranged one after another in blocks. All elements of the identity are printed with one color on paper that comes in 100% from recycling. Prints are complemented by the necessary pieces of equipment: properly chipped pencil and a pad for taking notes.
Identity initiated during the workshop at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in December 2013 as a feed for the layout of a fictitious portfolio.
